Bij de aanschaf van een oliedrukmeter heb je ook een opnemer nodig. Deze opnemer wordt op de plaats van die oliedrukschakelaar gemonteerd.
De VDO en Cronomac instrumenten worden zonder opnemer geleverd.Cronomac maakt gebruik van het VDO binnenwerk, je moet hiervoor dus ook een VDO opnemer gebruiken.
Deze VDO opnemer bevat ook een oliedrukschakelaar en kan dus zonder tussenkomst van een adapter in plaats van de bestaande oliedrukschakelaar worden gemonteerd.
